Two music cards in a week! 🎶
I felt the need to offer my husband a little reminder of how I feel in a language he speaks! 😁 I used the retired For The Record stamp set from Stampin Up with Sweet Sorbet cardstock for the background and ink for the heart.
I had fun personalizing the album cover! There were so many great songs filled with meaning from our early years together. I’m dating myself, no doubt, but this song was a favorite of ours way back when. 🎶 What album cover would you choose if you were to make a card like this?
I love making cards that are interactive, so when I adhered the album cover to the background, I only glued the edges of three sides so the record could slide in and out. The sentiment on the record is also from the For The Record stamp set. Finally, I used the smallest rectangle from the SU Everyday Details die set and heat embossed another stamp sentiment from the FTR set.
If you search on Pinterest for this stamp set, you’ll find that it is so versatile, particularly if your people love music! There are lots of really great cards to CASE allowing for your own personal touch! Though retired, a quick check over at ebay shows it’s still very much available.
